Dramas!

I've been doing nothingbut catching up on my dramas and friends this weekend.. So awesome to have a free weekend to do my own stuffs. The songs for the regionals in Glee are like Awesome!!! Get it right is so emotional, and Loser like me is so inspirational and fun!

The reason why I like Glee is that they tackle problems that youths face everyday. Homosexuality, bullying because one is different, the issue of teenage pregnancy etc. It's done with lots of singing and inspirational speeches and realisations. The best thing in that episode is that.. Blaine and Kurt finally KISSED!! I love it when boys kiss! I'm all for GAY LOVE! =P

Had fun double dating with my best friend yesterday. She and her bf are so cute together. And her bf is such a nice easy going guy. We had dinner @ a joint named Skinny Pizza and the food was alright. The company was better, but their truffle fries were TO DIE FOR! So YUM!!! Next time I go over, I am gonna try their Truffle mushroom pizza! Oh noes! My bf is gonna be poor because I like all the expensive foods.. Haha.. Foie Gras and Truffles are now my new favourite guilty indulgence.. =P

Anyways, I'm happy my best fren is so happy now.. Her bf is genuinely in love with her. I hope they can last. =)

Ok, it's time to go.. I have to do some household chores and get ready to sleep soon. School starts tomorrow. I can't believe time is passing so fast. The weekend seems to be over in a flash. Oh well, time flies when you're having fun~!

Time is really flying past!

It's already been 3 weeks since I started school. So far, I'm doing alright.. Getting used to waking up at 5.30am in the morning, and coming home at 7pm. Sometimes later when I have to work at the clinic. Not much time left for any socialising except for classmates. Off days are usually spent sleeping in or doing housework.

Met up with Sock tonight, and it's a great feeling to be able to interact and catch up with someone whom I haven't met in a while. It's always good to be updated on what others are doing, so I make it a point to meet up with friends once in a while.

Everyone becomes so busy, as we all get engrossed in our own life and have more responsibilities. I guess that's a huge part of being an adult and being able to take care of yourself, and hopefully others as well when we get settled in.

Finished with a practical examination and the day 21 review test today. Written exam in 2 weeks time, and next week is gonna be the World Gourmet Summit which will be held at my school. I hope I get to meet famous chefs! =P

I wasn't thinking about doing a new post but since I was free and have been putting it off, decided to do just a short update.

Also, a celebrity blogger I follow posted on my comments~!!! Highlight of the night... Hahahaha!!!

Finally!

I survived!

my first week in culinary school.

So far, it's been an awesome week. There are heaps of stuffs we have to learn and memorise, but it's all good because the Chefs (Instructors) are although all serious-looking, are really nice and friendly. The classmates are great too. All so friendly and chirpy, even the DCA (Diploma in Culinary Arts) are nice and super outgoing. It's a huge mish-mash of different cultures as the class consists of nationalities ranging from Malaysia to Brazil.

We have lunch provided in school and so far, it's been quite nice. I was gonna post everyday's lunch but I dun have all the pictures as of now. So maybe tomorrow or sometime this week.

Anyways, time to do some housework and then some reading before going to bed early.

1 thing not cool about school, waking up @ 5.30am to get ready for school.

How I met your mother?

I've just started watching How I Met Your Mother and I must say, as much as I find it funny and enjoyable, I totally totally dislike the lead character, Ted Mosby.

He comes across as being a super desperate man, trying to fall in love with every woman he meets, thinking they are the one he's gonna marry! I hate indecisive guys like that. So annoying! I'm almost at the end of Season 1 and he almost cheated on his gf of a LDR for Robin! What a DOUCHE!

He's the only thing I dislike about the show, because everyone else, is super FUNNY! Especially Neil Patrick Harris.

Speaking about annoying people, how about 1 that's a total jerk and hypocrite? When I was dating him, he forbade me from associating with my ex and close guy friends. And a few years later, here he is, on FaceBook TRYING to add.me.as.his.friend.

Ha.

Annoyed

So annoying. 1 thing I hate abt the Lunar New Year is that my mom becomes a raging nagging monster when it comes to spring cleaning. I've already helped her with what I can, which is cleaning the ovens out, the rice cooker area and then today, I did the fridge.

Do you have any idea how much stuff she has in that fridge of hers? So many such that we have 2 fridges at home. I cleaned out as much as I could, the expired jars of items and rotten food. I even used a cloth to wipe the inside out. The rest of the stuffs which I kept are the dried stuff (chrysanthemum flowers, dried goods like oysters/scallops/vegetable looking stuffs), and the new stuff she bought to be consumed during the new year. Of course the fridge is still so packed. BECAUSE IT'S FULL OF YOUR STUFF~!

Not because I did not clean it out like you asked me to, BUT BECAUSE IT IS ALL YOUR STUFF THAT'S STILL INSIDE THE FRIDGE!

GRRRR! Annoying raging monster on the loose.

Worried.

MilkTea is sick.. She has all these lumps on her body. Sigh.. So worried. I think they hurt, cause when I was checking them out and touching them, she bit me.

Dunno if I should bring her to a vet. Told my bro if he could ask his vet at work what it could be. I hope it's not cancer or tumours or anything serious.

Have been feeling so sad and worried for her. Been super gentle with her this few days. I hope she gets better without seeing a vet. The last time I took my pets to the vet, they all died..
