Breadisaster...

I tried...

I really really tried...

But I manage to screw up the most simple no knead bread..

First, I got the timing of rising the dough totally wrong.. Then I had to wake up in the middle of the night to put the dough in the fridge so as to stop it from over-rising.. Finally the outside of the bread is hard as a rock while the inside is totally undercooked...

Grrr..

But I will not give up! WILL NOT! YOU HEAR ME, STINKING YEAST! I WILL CONQUER YOU!

Sigh, now I'm gonna go dig a hole and crawl into it to lick my wounds...

Just kidding...

Bread...

So I made some bread dough today.. It is at home now, rising..

Tomorrow afternoon will be the time to bake the dough.. I hope it goes well.. First time using yeast, and boy, does it stink... I had a look before I left home for work in the afternoon, and it puffed up a little, and there were heaps of bubbles! How cool is that?!?!?

I can't believe dough makes me happy.. Haha..

We shall see how everything turns out tomorrow!

On another note, yesterday was a pretty bad day for me.. Made me evaluate what I wanna do in the future.. I dunno if I should do something I like (which means starting from scratch) or just do something mediocre that I might not enjoy.. Sigh sigh.. Decisions decisions...

Oh well, I'd probably just wait till the end of the Lunar New Year to decide.. It's hard getting a job now.. Maybe next year would be a better year..

That's about it I guess..

So....

Its been almost 3 weeks since I last posted... In this 3 weeks, I did:

- not bake any bread like I intended to
- made some other foods that I did not intend to make
- went for my trip to Bali
- got sick from eating bad seafood on my 2nd night in Bali
- had an awesome Halloween night dressing up as a Vampy vampire

All in all, a good 3 weeks worth of fun.. =P

Anyways, pictures should be up soon in FB once my lazy BF posts them up..
